Exit Through The Record Shop

Last night I went to (and featured in) an exhibition of customised vinyl, featuring the work from over 40 artists. A great night, a great turnout and a great exhibition!
Some of my entries...

Thanks to Kid30 for organising such a fun and impressive project and night.

REMED

Yesterday was a good day. Painting finished and then I stumbled across a Remed solo show at Pure Evil Gallery on Leonard Street, on my way home.
Couldn't really have asked for much more.
Here are some photos from the show.

World Cup Mural Complete

After a smashing sunshine week, my World Cup mural is complete.
If you are walking by Rich Mix on Bethnal Green Road over the next few weeks, be sure to go and have a little look at it, as well as the surrounding pieces created by 8 other artists.

A Mural In Progress

A big white wall....
Some lines and paint....
It's coming along, slowly but colourfully!

The rain halted any progress yesterday but full June sunshine today means more photos up later on!

Afro Cup Mural

I have been commissioned through Rich Mix in Shoreditch, along side 7 other artists to complete a mural on Bethnal Green Road for their Afro Cup Festival for the coming FIFA World Cup. A very exciting project and a massive space to paint! This is my plan. More detailed and more colourful pics to follow!

Today I Will Wake Up To This

This is my final illustration for the Memories brief (see below post).
My visual response to the memory I was given shows 4 warrior men surrounded by cut out words and shapes. It is intended to represent the fight (against cancer) for a new day, a better lifestyle, positivity, colour, fun and happiness as opposed to the sad and unfortunate outcome cancer can have on many people's lives.

Today Cut Shapes Out

I found a knife and then some paper and got a bit carried away cutting it out.
So fun.
A work in progress for my submission to the Memories book.
